I’ve been standing on the edge for a long time.
Years in fact.
I’ve dipped my toe in on the odd occasion, but I’ve always scurried back to safety, taking refuge in my comfort zone, where I can critique the technique of others, without having my own efforts as a comparison, lest it be unfavourable.
I’ve psyched myself up to take the plunge – “I’m going to start tomorrow” – more times than I can possibly count. I have some friends telling me, “it’s lovely once you’re in” and I have other friends telling me, “go on, do it. You’ll enjoy it, and I’ll enjoy watching you.”
But I never did.
Not until today.
The moment has finally arrived. I’m here. I’m in.
I’m blogging. There really is no going back now.

There may be no going back, but you don’t appear to be moving forward either…

It’s a beautiful day…
Now, about this Africa thingy….
